This Privacy Policy explains how the Jotleaf mobile application ("Jotleaf" or the "App"), provided by Gabe Chavez / AaX ("we," "us," or "our"), handles information.
No account Jotleaf does not require registration.
Local storage Your notes remain on your device.
No data sales We do not sell or share your information.
Jotleaf is designed as a local note-taking application. The notes, titles, tags, preferences, and other content you create in the App are stored locally on your device. We do not operate a server that receives or stores this content, and we cannot view your notes.
Jotleaf does not require you to provide a name, email address, phone number, account credentials, precise location, contacts, or advertising identifier.
We do not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share personal information or note content through Jotleaf. The App does not include developer-operated advertising, analytics, tracking, or cloud-sync services.
If you choose to import, export, back up, or share a note, Jotleaf may use your device's document picker or sharing interface. The selected content is sent only to the location, application, or person you choose. Information handled by that destination is governed by its own privacy practices.
Jotleaf only requests access to device features when needed for a feature you initiate. It does not request access to your location, contacts, microphone, camera, call logs, or messages for its core note-taking functions.
The store from which you obtain Jotleaf and your device's operating-system provider may independently process information such as download activity, device information, security events, or diagnostic reports. Their handling of that information is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. For information about Google's practices, see the Google Privacy Policy.
Your Jotleaf data remains on your device until you delete it, clear the App's storage, or uninstall the App. Notes moved to the App's trash remain there until restored or permanently deleted according to the controls available in the App. Any copies you exported or shared must be deleted separately from their destination.
Because we do not receive or store your notes or personal information on our systems, there is no corresponding server-side account or personal-data record for us to delete.
Jotleaf relies on the security protections provided by your device and operating system. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate device security, such as a screen lock, system updates, and secure backups. No method of electronic storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Jotleaf is a general-purpose note-taking tool and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the App does not transmit user-created notes or personal information to us, we do not knowingly maintain children's personal information on developer-operated systems.
We may update this Privacy Policy if Jotleaf's features or legal obligations change. The revised policy will identify its new effective or last-updated date. If a future version introduces data collection or an online service, this policy will be updated before that processing begins where required.
